BLISTER PACKAGING LINE BLICA-300
The BLICA-300 connects the blister machine with the cartoning machine through an integrated blister transfer station – a space-saving monobloc design for your complete packaging line.
Up to 300 blisters and 150 folding boxes can be processed per minute on this intermittent packaging line, making the BLICA-300 the perfect solution for medium-speed packaging segments.
Guided touchscreen operation and short format changeover times allow for complete flexibility. This means that the BLICA-300 can be used cost-effectively for medium or small production quantities.
In addition, a solution that is completely customized to your needs can be achieved simply and easily. Thanks to its modular structure, you can choose from a wide variety of feeding systems and optional equipment. The system’s large forming area and high degree of compatibility with all kinds of packaging materials enable a broad range of uses.

WORKFLOW FOR THE BLICA-300 LINE
1. Integrated forming film support
The forming film is positioned in a user-friendly manner, enabling the operator to quickly change out the film. The diameter of the film roll is monitored by a sensor that issues a visual and auditory warning if the film falls below a minimum amount. This allows the operator to replace the film roll in a timely manner.
2. Heating station
The heating station consists of an upper and lower heating plate (each plate has three heating elements) with end positions monitored by sensors. The heating station opens automatically when the machine stops operating.
3. Forming station
The forming station is designed to use plate forming – it utilizes a stable four-column press with quick connectors for compressed air and cooling systems.
4. Status LEDs
Status LEDs display the current operating status of individual areas of the system.
5. Feeding area
The feeding area is designed to be compatible with all common feeding systems. It checks for any protruding products by means of a pendulum-type flap monitored by sensors.
6. Product quality control system
This system assesses the colors, defects and presence of your products. The product quality control system is connected to the shift register in order to guarantee functional product ejection.
7. Integrated cover film intake
The cover film is positioned in a user-friendly manner, enabling the operator to quickly change out the film. The diameter of the film is monitored by sensors.
8. Sealing station
This unit utilizes a continuous roller sealing mechanism and monitors the end position of the sealing roller by means of a sensor. The sealant temperature can be configured using the control panel.
9. Die-cutting station
The die-cutting station is designed horizontally, with a residue stripper and collection container.
10. Blister transfer station
During this stage, blisters are transferred to the cartoning machine by means of a robot with a carbon arm.
11. Folding box magazine
The folding box magazine is ergonomically designed and includes sensors that can sound an alarm in user-defined scenarios.
12. Folding box transport system
The folding box transport system transports the assembled folding boxes. It is monitored by sensors.
13. Product feeding system
The continuous product feed system consists of 15 revolving product feeders.
14. Folding box closing station
The filled folding boxes are closed by inserting the bottom and top-side tuck-in flaps (using hot glue, if necessary).
