MEETING THE GROWING CHALLENGES IN THE MANUFACTURE OF PRODUCTS IN THE FOOD RETAIL
Today, the manufacture of products in the food retail industry poses ever greater challenges for manufacturers, and it will continue to do so in the future. These include the constant need to decrease product weight while maintaining the product’s defining qualities, and reduce cycle times even further.
At ILSEMANN AUTOMATION, we’ve been overcoming these challenges for years. That is why we have already developed appropriate solutions such as cutlery and coffee capsules made of recyclable materials – some with the highest achievable barrier properties.
SOLUTIONS FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF PRODUCTS
Our automation solutions are highly adaptable to a wide variety of products. In addition to the sub-tasks of take out from the mold and packaging, we also complete the complex assembly of multiple components that are either supplied “in-line” from different cellular manufacturing processes or from separate sorting and positioning systems.
During this process, our systems operate at peak performance. Take a look at two specific examples:
- PS cups can be extracted, stacked and packaged in under 0.5 seconds in a fully automated process.
- Cutlery can be extracted, stacked and packed into cartons using molds with up to 2×96 cavities.
By the way: We also develop systems that are customized to our customers’ needs.
